Deceitful Heart

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and
desperately wicked: who can know it?

The verse is telling me that the corrupt heart is the worst
enemy the fallen creature can have. It is full of evil devices,
of deceit, of folly, and abomination. No matter how we hide our
heart's secret but only God can examine our own deeds
by the malice of our hearts.

"Be careful with your thoughts, they may become words in any moments"

God bless you and Goodnite!

Great reminder, here. I hear so many people today speak of "following their heart", and remembering this verse makes me cringe when they say that.

Great reminder that we need to listen to His will and not our own. Without Christ every heart is corrupt and decietful.
Isnt it sad that the wise men of the world have discovered this secret but not the solution.

Ok his verse can be translated in many ways! But over all it is a scary verse!
Ppl say that our brains are a way of holding all our memory, i can c that... But after studing verses about the heart! it can almost seem that our heart is the general place in our body that holds all the memory! and our brain is what processes that information... For instance, God looks at our hearts to determine what kind of person we are! Also ive seen a few stories about how ppl have lost all there memory an they started to remember certain memories an where asked how they remember they said they felt it in their heart!
I could be wrong but thats just how i got this translation!
